I've had this pack since 2009. It's 2025, and as I was rucking with it I thought I should give this thing a review. It's a solid, comfortable backpack. I've carried plates, elk, and gear. Bought the 3-Day Assault Backpack in the mid '90's when working with the Special Boat Unit in Little Creek NAB. Blackhawk had a store right outside the gate from the base. I carried that pack daily from ship to ship across the world. I've used it as a tool bag, range bag, fishing gear bag and supply pack during hikes with my family. years of daily use the inside coating deteriorated, and the pack lost its water resistance. I contacted Blackhawk and they honored the "lifetime" warranty of my backpack. I've been carrying the 2nd backpack almost as long as I had the first pack and is still as good as the day I got it. This bag is so good and rugged that my son, who is a commercial diver, bought one and has been using the 3-Day Assault backpack for the last 10 years. I'm not sure if the item still comes with a "lifetime" guarantee, but the 3-Day Assault is the best backpack in my opinion and one that will last many years of use/abuse, there really is nothing better. I got issued one of these in 2006 by the Air Force, was still going strong in March of 2025 when someone stole it, it is large and well built, ordering another!

Nice pack, Grandma picked it up for me one spring for the Birthday, I love this pack. This has been an amazing pack that I've used for over 15 years. No buckle breaks, no zipper issues, and no canvas tears.
